Poem #1

Dear (child's name),

While the elves are hard at work
Putting together the coolest toys
I'm keeping busy by checking my list
Of all the little girls and boys
My naughty list is a long one this year
But thank goodness you've been good!
I'm so proud that you've behaved, (child's name)
Just like I knew you could!
From my village in the North Pole
To (child's town) is a long way
But the reindeer will fly me there in time
With presents for Christmas Day
Don't forget to hang up your stocking
And if you hear the bells ring on my sled
Remember, I only visit when children are sleeping
So hurry on up to bed
Please leave out some milk and cookies
I work up an appetite on my big night
And if you have a carrot for Rudolph and the gang
It'll boost their speed and sight
Mrs. Claus cleaned up my red suit for me
And my gift sack is almost full
The reindeer have been getting lots of rest
To be strong for the sleigh they'll pull
So get ready, I'm coming to town, (child's name)
And I'm bringing some holiday cheer
Don't pout my friend; it's a magical season
For Christmas time is here!

Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas!

Love Your Friend,
Santa Claus

P.S. Mrs. Claus, the elves, and the reindeer all say hello!

Poem #2

Dear (child's name),

It's that magical time of year again!
'Tis the season for being jolly!
For singing carols and eating candy canes
For hanging ornaments and boughs of holly
Christmas time is the best time!
I'm sure, (child's name), you'd agree
My favorite part is stuffing stockings
And leaving presents underneath the tree
The elves delight in the hustle and bustle
Of our holiday workshop building new toys
Mrs. Claus enjoys baking yummy cookies
And wrapping gifts for the good girls and boys
My village looks lovely, I wish you could visit
But your home in (child's town) is just too far away
You can't get here by train, not even plane
Only by my reindeer sleigh
I rejoice at the sight outside of my window
The North Pole is covered with a blanket of snow
Our tree is topped with the shiniest star
In the hallways, hang lights and mistletoe
Rudolph and his nose are having loads of fun
So are Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, and Vixen
They're playing some reindeer games together
With Comet, Cupid, Donner, and Blitzen
Well Mrs. Claus is calling me for dinner
But before I go, (child's name), I must say
Children who behave go on my nice list
And are happily rewarded on Christmas Day!

Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas!

Love Your Friend,
Santa Claus

P.S. Mrs. Claus, the elves, and the reindeer all say hello!

Poem #3

Dear (child's name),

Grab your noisemakers and party hat
It's the biggest birthday bash of the year
We're celebrating the birth of our Lord
Be glad, (child's name)! Jesus' birthday is here!
He was born in Bethlehem to Mary and Joseph
The angels rejoiced, O Holy Night
The shepherds visited Christ in His manger
The wise men were guided by His star so bright
All hearts overflowed with joy when they saw
The Messiah as a newborn wrapped up in love
Light and life to all, He brings
God's greatest gift sent down from above
Up here in the North Pole, in my land of toys
Hymns of praise and thanks we all sing
With every present we wrap and ribbon we tie
We give glory to our Savior and King
(child's name), always remember, God loves you so much!
Say your prayers everyday, be a good (boy/girl) too
If you get confused when making decisions
Try asking yourself what would Jesus do
To your home in (child's town) Mrs. Claus and I send
Our best wishes during this magical season
I know it's exciting to get fun toys
But don't forget Jesus; He's the real reason!
Before opening your gifts on Christmas morning
Remember what you must joyfully shout
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS!" for He's the true meaning
Of what Christmas time is all about!

Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas!

Love Your Friend,
Santa Claus

P.S. Mrs. Claus, the elves, and the reindeer all say hello!

Poem #4

Dear (child's name),

Congratulations! You're not on my naughty list!
I know because I've checked it twice
I'm proud to say you've done a great job!
I found your name listed under nice!
I've received so many good reports, (child's name)
You've been listening to what your parents say
I'm happy to hear you're doing great in school
For that you'll be rewarded on Christmas Day!
The elves have been busy all year long
In my workshop building brand new toys
Thanks to Mrs. Claus, I have a new magical sack
To carry presents for the good girls and boys
The reindeer are excited for our annual adventure
And had lots of rest to prepare
They use a lot of strength and lightening speed
Making sure your gifts are handled with care
Rudolph and his nose will be guiding my sleigh
Lighting up the winter sky so beautifully bright
And since our first stop is scheduled for (child's town)
You might hear sleigh bells early in the night
Can you please leave out some cookies for my visit?
My favorites are Sugar, Oatmeal, and Chocolate Chip
And a tall glass of milk to wash it all down
That would really energize me for my big trip
All in the North Pole are jolly this season
Caroling, hanging mistletoe, and building snowmen
I hope you're getting in the spirit too, (child's name)
Because our favorite holiday is here once again!

Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas!

Love Your Friend,
Santa Claus

P.S. Mrs. Claus, the elves, and the reindeer all say hello!
